Brenda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Counseling Resource Service. She has worked in the State of Florida for over 15 years working with diverse populations and helping in different settings. Brenda has experience working with Hospice patients and the home healthcare system as well as has worked in hospitals and with the Cancer population among others. She now provides individual services to persons from age 15 and above. Brenda has experiences with anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD/Trauma, Grief/End of life, Later Life transitions, Reproductive challenges and Gender identity.
Brenda utilizes diverse intervention styles included but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral therapy and Grief work. Populations of interest include: First Responders, Military/Veterans and their family, LGBTQ+. Brenda is fluent in English and Spanish.
