In-home Counseling
Because many older adults, and those with disabilities, face illnesses and difficulties with daily living activities, counseling support can be very helpful in maintaining a good quality of life. The good news is that some insurance plans pays for in-home services for those who are mostly home bound. Instead of coming to our office for therapy sessions, our counselors will come to your home.
Telethealth Services
Currently Medicare and other insurances are paying for telehealth services to occur over the telephone or through audiovisual equipment. You do not need to qualify or have a referral for this service. It is treated the same as in-person and in-home counseling.
About Medicare Coverage
What is known as “straight” Medicare or Medicare Part B with an insurance supplement that covers mental health services. Other insurance plans with mental health benefits are accepted.
No Insurance Coverage?
Self-pay is always an option for those desiring in-home counseling but do not have Medicare or a Medicare supplement insurance does not cover mental health services. Call us to discuss fee-for-service rates.
