Becky is a licensed mental health counselor who has 19 years of experience working with clients after making a midlife career change. She has worked in a community mental health setting and for a telehealth counseling platform where she saw clients in a range of adult age groups. Most of her experience, however, has been with hospice and bereavement where she provided grief counseling in the schools and community, and facilitated bereavement and caregiver support groups. She is familiar with end-of-life issues and caregiver fatigue. Becky enjoys working with all age groups from young adults to the elderly. She believes that change can happen at any age to facilitate freedom from emotional distress and past negative experiences.
Becky’s goal in working with clients is to provide an emotionally supportive environment while always fostering hope. She utilizes cognitive behavioral, solution focused and person-centered therapy.
Becky finds great joy in empowering clients to make positive changes and overcome challenges so that they can experience living their life to the fullest.
