Britt Blakey, LCSW, is a psychotherapist, educator, and facilitator who has spent more than thirty years helping individuals, families, and organizations cultivate emotional well-being, resilience, and meaningful connection. With a two-decade career in education and advanced clinical training in neuroscience-informed, Solution-Focused, and somatic practices, Britt blends therapeutic insight with practical, accessible teaching.
After witnessing firsthand how emotional safety transforms both learning and behavior, Britt earned her Master of Social Work and Play Therapy Certificate from the University of Central Florida. In her clinical practice, she integrates neuroscience, Conscious Discipline®, polyvagal principles, and playful experiential approaches to help clients reconnect with their inner resources and move toward their preferred future.
Beyond the therapy room, Britt is a seasoned trainer and facilitator, known for her ability to translate complex psychological concepts into engaging, actionable tools. She has designed and delivered trainings for teachers, parents, clinical teams, and organizational leaders, focusing on emotional regulation, communication, nervous-system–informed leadership, and cultivating environments where people can thrive. Her workshops are dynamic, experiential, and rooted in the belief that connection is the foundation of cooperation and change.
